The foundation stone of JK Cement Works, Fujairah was laid by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi - Crown Prince of Fujairah, along with Late Shri Yadupati Singhania - MD & CEO, JK Cement Ltd. and Dr. Raghavpat Singhania - Managing Director- JK Cement Ltd.
JK Cement Ltd. has formed a wholly owned subsidiary namely JK Cement (Fujairah) FZC and step down subsidirary JK Cement Works (Fujairah) FZC in the Free Zone of Emirate of Fujairah, UAE for setting up a dual process White cum Grey Cement plant with an installed capacity of 0.6 million tonnes per annum White Cement or 1.0 million tonnes per annum Grey Cement.
The first dispatch of White Cement was done on 3rd March 2014. The quality of the product has been well accepted in the market and registration formalities for sale in various countries is being carried out.
Eng. Mohamed Saif Al Afkham - Director General (Fujairah Municipality) flagged off the first dispatch along with Mr. M.S.Raghavan - Chairman & Managing Director (IDBI Bank). Standing next to Mr. Raghavan is Mr. N.S.Venkatesh - CGM (IDBI Bank). The second flag is being waved by Dr. Ibrahim Saad - Director (JK Cement Works, Fujairah) & Mr Abdul Ghafoor Behroozian.

'Jaykaycem' is an affiliate of the multi-disciplinary industrial conglomerate- JK Organisation. JK Cement Ltd. acquired cent percent shares, whereupon Jaykaycem became its Wholly Owned Subsidiary. Jaykaycem is being granted the mining lease of cement-grade lime stone in Panna District of Madhya Pradesh State and letter of intent in this regard has already been issued by the Madhya Pradesh Government. It started the process of acquisition of land from villagers falling under mining and proposed a plant area. It has plans to set up a Grey Cement manufacturing unit of appropriate capacity in phases within the periphery of Mining area.
The Government has issued letter of intent to grant Mining Lease of 1594.34 Hectare of land at Village Judi, Kamtana Kakra etc. District Panna, Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, the Company's applications for Mining Leases for Limestone in different part of the Madhya Pradesh is in process at various level of State Government.
